Baseball- Williamsville came into Saturday's games against Teutopolis with a record of 16-11, having won three straight games. The Bullets rebounded with wins over Southeast, Illini Central, and North Mac.

The Bullets got out to a 1-0 lead over Teutopolis(18-10) in the second but would find themselves trailing 3-1 entering the sixth. The Bullets, who had struggled offensively all game, finally got the ball rolling in the bottom of the sixth. Nathan Simko singled to start the inning, and Brayden Saling would score him on a ground ball in between first and second. Saling would score on a pickoff attempt that went into right field. Brayden Saling would get a scoreless seventh, and the Bullets looked for a walk-off. After a strikeout and a groundout, Braylon Singer would come up with a huge double to deep right, and Nathan Simko would walk it off with a double to deep left-center field. Softball- Bullets softball has been on fire at the dish recently, putting up at least seven runs in the last seven games, grabbing six of those seven games. Just like the baseball team, the softball also found struggles earlier this season, losing six games in a row in early and mid-April. They were able to rebound with key wins over Washington, PORTA, Meridian, and Warrensburg.

On Friday 5/10, Williamsville faced the Central State Eight Champion Glenwood Titans. The tone of punch-counterpunch was set in the second when Reese Larson drove in a run for the Bullets, and Glenwood got it back on a homer in the bottom half of the inning. The Bullets found themselves down 4-2 entering the fifth, and Izzy Nowack would hit a towering three-run homerun to take the lead. Lucy Nell would find the outfield grass and drive in another run, as Williamsville put up a four spot. The Bullets would tack on one more and hang on for the momentous victory, 7-4. Pitching Stats: Lucy Nell( 3.0 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 1 K), Hope Keenan( 4.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K).
